HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Oracle will work as well. This is especially helpful if you have more than one Oracle home and only want to manage the TNS stuff for all Homes from one place. At least this was true for Oracle 8 thru 9iR2. Received on Wed Jul 28 2004 - 11:46:12 CDT
