I have analyzed the tables with a reasonable sample size (20% I think).

I checked out the HASH_AREA_SIZE and the SORT_AREA_SIZE are much smaller on the 8i box.

Met with the DBA's today, and the 9i upgrade is going to take place with-in the week, so I'll make sure they set the parms to a more "reasonable" value than the current 8i db.
