Hello !

Did somebody manage to run Oracle 9.2 with Oracle Intelligent Agent on a FreeBSD system ?
The database server itself runs successfully, but somehow I can't get the Intelligent Agent to run.

I've patched it with patch 3238244 (previously trying to run dbsnmp gave me a segmentation fault from the linux emu), now I can start it in case it doesn't have setuid bit set in the executable. If so, when trying to run a job in the OMS it gives me: VNI-2027 : Intelligent Agent executible does not have root access.

When SUID is set (chmod 4755 dbsnmp), the Intelligent Agent won't start.
Wher traceing it, the lines that differ from a normal startup trace
(without SUID) are:
(1024) [26-JUL-2004 09:52:39:474] nttcni: trying to connect to socket
5.
(1024) [26-JUL-2004 09:52:39:475] ntt2err: entry
(1024) [26-JUL-2004 09:52:39:475] ntt2err: soc 5 error - operation=1,
ntresnt[0]=511, ntresnt[1]=111, ntresnt[2]=0

Dis somebody experience something like that ? Any help much appreciated !
