Pls register yourself at http://otn.oracle.com (for free), and post your questions on Oracle Data Mining at the discussion forum associated with this product:

http://otn.oracle.com/products/bi/odm/index.html

(see right panel in the above page for Discussion Forum)

Without taking sides on SAS/SPSS/other tool vs Oracle, let's just say that if you are a Oracle shop, you owe it to yourself to take a look at this feature (esp in 10g) before investing in a separate data mining tool. The same argument holds for other BI offerings.

If you are already a SAS/SPSS shop, but have all your data stored in a Oracle backend, try ODM and see if it meets your needs. If it does not, please post your requirements at the above site for a quick response.

Good luck.
