Hi , 



with oracle 9.2.0.2 rac(with 2 nodes) , 4 itanium 64 cpus , redhat
linux advanced server 2.1 , 8gb.ram, i see /dev/shm is mounted but i
doubt whether it is used or not because


use_indirect_data_buffers=false . Since my system is 64 bit , do i
need /dev/shm which is 4gb. If i unmount this , does the free memory
increase ?
