Yes. Tune your applications. Tuning spfile$ORACLE_SID.ora will not give you more then 2-3%. You can also use method "C", which is in essence this: you get all of your hit ratios to predetermined values and declare that the instance is performing well. Any statement to the contrary should be ignored and suppressed by the large quantities of "DBA lingo". Method "R", on the other hand, requires reading. Quite a bit of it, actually.
