There's no problem with this. In fact, if you've set auditing options which mean it will grow rapidly I strongly recommend moving it out of the system tablespace. Just do alter table move... sys.aud$ is the exception to the rule that one shouldn't mess about with tables owned by sys. Feel free to truncate it as required as well, or better, with an agreed security policy, delete where the entries are more than (say) a month old as a scheduled db_job. This is all routine housekeeping as far as I am concerned.
