Oracle & XP Firewall problem

I don't know if I should post this question here or in a Win XP / Firewall forum.

Anyway, I've installed Oracle 9i on a Win XP machine acting as a server. It is just a server I use at home for testing/development, nothing fancy. To be able to connect to the Oracle server I opened port 1521 and I added oracle.exe and tnslsnr.exe to the allowed programs list in the firewall.

I installed the Oracle client on my laptop and I was able to connect to the server and run queries.

The problem is that after approx. 1 min of inactivity the firewall (I assume for whatever security reasons) drops the connection and I have to loggin to Oracle again.

I use the Internet Connection Firewall in XP SP2 RC1. I don't know if the problem exists with the old firewall in XP. When I disable the firewall everything works fine but I don't want to do that because I also have a small web server on this machine.

Has anybody encountered this problem? Any ideas/solutions?

Thanks,
Bogdan.
