Do you really want to use clustering? It is really not that hard to make this choice. If availabity is the concern, Oracle RAC is your choice. If horizontal scalability is more important, DB2 would be a better fit. Having worked with both databases, there are many pros and cons in each. Not to be bias, overall I still prefer Oracle.
