Sorry Daniel,

have to disagree. While the book is definitely highly recommendable, it would not be the first I'd suggest. "Beginning Oracle Programming" covers more of the basics including 9i. "Expert one-on-one" should be the second or third book in conjunction with "Effective Oracle by design".

Books on PL/SQL to follow.
