 Looks like they backed out of that - I thought it had been removed too (not that I ever used sqlplusw anyway), but it's still there:

D:\oracle\product\10.1.0\Client_1\bin>dir sqlplus*  Volume in drive D is Data
 Volume Serial Number is 9422-1A5D

 Directory of D:\oracle\product\10.1.0\Client_1\bin
