I would definetely finish 8i track. You're in 8i project so this knowledge is relevant. Also you have already invested into two exams. It's much less expensive to get another three and upgrade to 9i. You'll get two certs for less than just 9i costs. Don't forget that you must buy a course from Oracle to get 9i unless you're upgrading.
