RAID 1+0 vs RAID 0+1 with SAME

As I understand it, RAID 0+1 has the same performance as RAID 10, but RAID 0+1 doesn't support multiple disk failures on different sides and performance can suffer during rebuilding. Is there any reason to use RAID 0+1 over RAID 10 with SAME (or anything for that matter)? Received on Wed Apr 28 2004 - 02:16:43 CDT
