That would be my choice as well - If you look at the cost of DBA time versus the cost of a cheap server it's not such a stupid idea. I once worked on a customer site where they'd decided to 'solve' all their unix adminstration problems by moving *everything* onto a single E10000. Strangely enough their lives didn't get any simpler......
