Don,

We hit this today, as I had applied 9.2.0.5 against a db running RHEL 3.0 ES.
The client was running 9.2.0.4 (W2K Pro, SP4). I've applied the 9.2.0.5 patchset on that desktop, and awaiting his return from lunch to re-run the load.

from the trace file out of /udump, sqlldr was attemping to insert a row of entirely NULL characters, using DIRECT load.

I believe that we have hit the exact same error.

what version of the Oracle client are you using? feel free to contact me offline.
