It doesn't change anyting (apparently at least).

I made a trace (user level) of sqlnet on client and server but I have no difference between the case where the base is open and the sysdba connection is ok and the case where the base is shut and the sysdba connection produce the error.

Do you know what process is called on the server when a sysdba connection occured and the instance is shut ?
