10g has it's own clusterware unlike 9i which required some 3rd party clusterware which rarely worked. for this reason Oracle have now developed their own and it's build in 10g - you do not need any other software. 10g also has it's own LVM. BTW, no-one has implemented more then 3 nodes to-date because 9i did not support more.....they told us these interesting facts at the oracle world. Received on Fri Feb 20 2004 - 02:45:51 CST
