I understand your thought.

However you may not have lurked in this forum long enough to realize a large number of people (possibly the majority) who ask such a question are looking for a freebie. They have downloaded the software, may have put it into production, and do not have Metalink access anywhere in the company. It does happen :-(

For those people (not necessarily the OP), your suggestion was inappropriate.
