SLA's - nice idea :-) Some systems are up 24 hours and we probably keep the system running with 98% uptime which is reasonable for our customers. We have connections to someone who can get the hardware - I just need to come up with a spec. I was hoping to do a demo on hardware that can run the 8.05 edition but I wonder if I don't need to run 2.6 instead of Solaris 7-9 to run the older (yes Sybrand unsupported) version of Oracle.
