Up here, in Seattle, there are a small number of Teradata customers: Amazon is not one of them. To find Teradata one looks at Boeing, where I worked on a few 32CPU machines, AT&T Wireless, T-Mobile, and Nordstrom: Not at any of the dot-coms.

It is no secret Amazon's big machines are HP Superdomes.
