I seem to recall either in the Oracle-L list or here in one of these
newsgroups that you can set an option (or compile one) to skip the check
for the linux distro. I believe it was a quote attributed to Wim
Coekaerts, but I couldn't find it in either archive.
Maybe someone else has the link or info?
