Hello Ernest,

  Consider another approach:

     Single site, multi-servers, no-RAC, DR sites using standbys/DataGuard, no multi-master replication

     If budget allows use Quest SharePlex to replicate data to DR. ( Streams replication by Oracle can be an alternative application, but it is much more complex and less time in production then shareplex).

     This approach is least expensive and least complex (IMHO)
