I would have been upset if you'd flammed him for that. I thought flamming spammers was my job. ;-)

Offering a prize, at least from my read, is not a commercial venture. With Howard making the solution open source he benefits the community and his offer nothing but inspired.

Any of the programmers can write and, create a web site, and try to license it to Howard and others. Perhaps they could even get Mark Townsend to purchase a copy. ;-)

You are correct. I just assumed that was the point of Howards offer, even though he didn't state it, given his generosity with his time.
