Well, yeah, actually. I have a course to give shortly. They run on Advanced Server 2.1, so that's what I'm installing into a virtual machine on top of XP. Now I admit it was my own stupid typing errors, but 13 times I couldn't get the entire set of environment parameters right. Another 4 times something else went wrong. It's not Oracle's fault, and it's not Linux's either. But I shouldn't have to go through that nonsense in the first place.

But yeah. I'm "somewhat annoyed".
