In your listener.ora file,
have your entry look similar to the following:

(SID_LIST =
(SID_DESC =

      (SID_NAME = MWH)
      (ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/product/7.3.4)
                (ENVS='EPC_DISABLED=TRUE')
