Hello @,

I have got the following problem:
Win 2000 Server, Oracle 8.1.7.2 , connect internal treats all the connections as remote and asks me to type in the password (when I type it I get ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied error) Configuration seems to be OK, ie. local user in the ORA_DBA group, sqlnet.ora contains:
SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES = (NTS),
ORACLE_SID is correctly set.

Is it possible that there is a problem with the password file (is it at all accessed during the local "connect internal") ? Do you have any other suggestions what I should check ?

TIA Regards,
