end-of-life, that's a good one.
old releases never die, the just ... keep working as intended. The good news is that you don't have to patch them after Oracle stops releasing patches for them.

Seriously though, if you mean end of error correction support, you can find that info on Metalink.

End of error correction support for 9.0.1 has already occurred, 31-DEC-2003.
End of error correction support for 8.1.7 was pushed back to 31-DEC-2004.
I don't recall the date for 9.2.x.
