And exactly what steps did you take to get into the Beta program? Please enlighten us with the steps you took to inform Oracle of your qualifications and willingness to test.

Did you submit a resume outlining your qualifications? Did you detail the hardware and operating systems available? Did you indicate the amount of time, each week, that would be devoted exclusively to testing?
Did you submit a test plan?
Did you sign the non-disclosure agreement?

My bet ... you sat in your cube and did nothing. No doubt your whining about "chosen people" here will earn you a seat in the next round of Betas.
