on 8.1.6 it is
CURSOR_SHARING=FORCE On 8.1.6 in my experience it is buggy though. I haven't yet been burned with CURSOR_SHARING=SIMILAR on 9.2, We experienced app crashes when we tried this on 816.
It also doesn't exactly take care of excessive parsing, but it makes the excessive parsing less expensive.
