No need to be sad. Unless there is a lot more going on in the background or that has made it to my newsfeed than I've seen, only you, me and Mark S. have actually volunteered to do anything?

Apologies on the procrastination, I've been dealing with work and an awful flu season.

Since I'm doing it as a website where I have final authority, I'm doing it anyways. I'm using the Linus Torvalds Benificent Despot model here, so I'd like it if we work together, but if not, hey, no big whoop. Anyways, I'm trying explicitly to distill the cdo netwisdom to something palatable to newbies, so I don't see any real conflict, except as regards periodic newsgroup postings. I think most newbies _want_ to know the rules and would appreciate such a site, rather than a gang-FAQ when they trip over the obvious.
