Thanks for your offer and your feedback. I'm a little saddened that your offer comes 1 day before I put the proposal to a vote. Had it been earlier, we could have solicited more input and interaction on your suggestion. My original post has been out for several weeks now and most of the discussion has been in cdo.misc

I'll try to work some of your suggestions into the final proposal tomorrow. You are, of course, free to put forth your own proposal in addition to (or in place of) mine.
