Re: Forms6i connection problem with DB 9.2.0.4, error-3106

Hello.

You can find some advices in thread 'TNS-12571 when editing text boxes in developer 6i with Oracle 9.2' at comp.databases.oracle.tools.

Some tips:
I found that the installation order (Forms server/Forms Developer/Patch) DOES matter.
The DB must be in UTF8, and NOT in AL32UTF8 which is not supported in Forms 6i.
Are you working in 3 tier with the Forms Server, or just Client/Server? You must indicate this in the installation procedure.
