Yes, and one article "Spinning or hanging". I decided that I am spinning :-)

Hanganalyze was also mentioned by Oracle. The problem is that Oracle does not hang...

There is some init parameter that causes a dump file when Oracle hangs. That dump file would be a help at Oracle.
