Hehehe! And that's only about 70Km in a straight line from the CBD... What was that about Telstra providing good telephone service to the bush before they can be privatised?
(for those who don't know distances in Australia, "bush" is not a president but a distance of > 200Ks from major city centres. Or the majority of the area of NSW).

Yeah, it's amazing isn't it? One of the things I'm finding now that I live in Pittwater is how small and backwards this area really is. It's got its own charm though. I love being able to dip into the rock pools in Summer, after work and before dinner. And the view from Long Reef during a big Winter storm is something that has to be experienced at least once in a lifetime. A big diff from the peace and quiet of my beloved Baulkham Hills. But wife is a lot nearer to work and travel times are sane now.

I still look to one day getting a hobby farm out Richmond or Windsor way, though.
