What really scares me is those (and many others) were features promoted by many of the 8i beta "testers" as being the "creme-de-la-creme" of 8i. The darn things NEVER worked properly! WTF "beta testing" was done that didn't pick these?

What level of confidence do I have that Oracle will EVER manage their beta program so this doesn't happen? When NOT ONCE in all the previous 8 releases have they even got anywhere near what it should have been?

And they tell me the 10g beta is "only for people who will actively test the software"?

Yeah! Right...
