now that I resent.
large memort support in win32-land was broken in 8.1.7.3 and was still not fixed in 8.1.7.4.1.

did you try to generate an export file in 8.1.7.4.x that could actually be imported without a ORA-907 error?

did you try to use cursor_sharing=FORCE with 8.1.7.4.12? It threw an ORA-600 (space leak) on a session being closed, gobs and gobs of memory.

no, if you were running Oracle on win32, you were looking forward to 9.2.0.4 where the real fixes were, and export/import actually worked.
