I would recommend that you read Howard Rogers document on installing 9ir2 on Linux (if you are using Linux? - you don't say) at http://www.di zwell.com/oracleonlinux.htm or also http://www.puschitz.com/InstallingOr acle9i.html has good info on loading 9i on Linux. Of course if you are on Unix or Windoze ignore this!
