I'm not precisely sure what you're asking, but external tables are only a way in Oracle to read text files as though they were regular tables. Text is (currently) the only source, and it is not possible to 'plug in' Access mdb's.

If you are therefore trying to view Access data from within Oracle, then external tables are not the way to go.
