Hmmm - not much happening in Ohio, then, is there? Or Huge log files.

That sounds like DataBase Files - not Archive Log Files (defaults to .arc)

Neither - it's not even a backup. These are redo log files, that have been used and were archived.

Not from, but using these files - they contain all transactions, just as the online redo log files do.

Nothing would happen, as these files are not used by the instance. As for recovery - it depends.
If you are lucky, your backup is from beyond the point in time used in file 36.
If you're unlucky, this file is needed for recovery, and you cannot recover any further than the transactions logged in file 35. You loose data.

Oracle Backup and Recovery manual (on docs.oracle.com). A test instance for yourself to try out your scenario. A course, perhaps, as I detect some basic knowledge is missing
