Hello,

I have an Oracle 8.04 database that has a VB front end. I unfortunately changed my nls_language settings on my pc to UTF8 (working on another application) and I tried to get into the VB application and I now get a Run-time error 3709.

I have changed the nls_language back to the original, uninstalled and reinstalled the 9i client and I still get the 3709 error. I can sqlnet into the database just fine. Nothing changed on the programming end.

I think there may be a lock or something in the database that prohibits me from logging into the application.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
