There is always that risk when integrating with third party products.

With that said:

Have you ran a standard Oracle AP check? Does the standard AP check output contain all the data you need? If it does, you can run an AP check, but not print it. Transfer the output (Concurrent request) to the third party software for printing/formatting. You could create a custom Apps print driver to do so and associate it with the AP Check concurrent program.

Auditors wont like it, but there ya go. Also, you can open up the AP check rdf file in Developer, to see what query it is performing. It will give you a good idea of what to replicate in your 3rd party product.
