You may well believe it but you are incorrect in that bleief.

The entire structure of Oracle is based on an architecture that does. Your belief that you don't is irrelevant to the underlying database engine.

Whatever UNDO is doing ... it is undoubtedly not your problem. I would suggest you concentrate on what is.
