Firstly is it possible! And if so please can someone point me in the
direction of some documentation.


I wish to call a C++ and/or VB compiled COM component from a PL/SQL
routine running on a W2K server from an Oracle database.
I suspect it may be possible but am not sure of the complexity or how
robust the solution may be.
