You didn't offer the easy and free solution.
You only offered the solution that sold your product.
That is spam and that is offensive.
If you want to sell your product do so at c.d.o.marketplace and no one
will call you a spammer.
If you want to offer your product as one of a range of solutions very
few will call you a spammer.
But do what you did and it is nothing but unadulterated spam and
reasonable people will see it for what it is.
I run a for-profit consutling group in addition to teaching at the
university. You can't find a single
reference to that company in anything I post. Not its URL, not its name,
not my return email address.
I get more business by respecting this group than I would ever get from
emulating what you do.
Something to consider.
