There is a paper on how to install 9.2 on Mandrake 9.1 at my website, www.dizwell.com.

The install is not difficult. Additional JDKs can certainly throw the issue, though. There is *no* need to install extraneous Java resources, because all that are needed are included on the installation CDs themselves.
