Of course when you find Oracle Corp headquartered (what a horrible word) in
Bangalore and no longer subject to US Tax or employment legislation at all
you might have a different view. Similarly I seem to recall the US getting
fairly upset over the European Union using fiscal measures to protect
European markets at the expense of US products as well.
