True. And things like direct SQL Loads, which never log in noarchivelog mode, but will log in archivelog mode unless you specifically request nologging for the table before the load begins.

But the OP swore that no-one else was on the database doing transactional stuff like that, so that's why I didn't particular dwell on the odd exception.
