And as Jitendra is absolutely correct the only thing one can do to compete with him is to provide things he can't provide:

  1. He can't go to a meeting and make himself a useful member of the team.
  2. He can't walk down the hall and do on-site user training.
  3. He can't work on any project that requires government security clearance.
  4. He doesn't understand the nuances of American or European business principles.
  5. He can't communicate in English or French or German or Spanish or Japanese as well as some of us might.

So if you are not at least his technical equal why shouldn't someone take him up on his offer of $20/hr.?
