We've got 2 boxes running RH 3.0AS we are building for a RAC test
using LVM
with dual LP8000 FC cards connected to a Clariion and when I try to
fdisk my disks I get the following problem/issue.
I can do a fdisk on say /dev/sda
but I can't access the drive from /dev/sdp.
/dev/sda is the first drive on the first HBA and
/dev/sdp is the first drive on the second HBA
and even stranger, is I can't fdisk /dev/sdb but /dev/sdq work
there is a bunch of flip flops like that. Any Ideas? I get the same
results on both boxes. I know on our SUN clusters, the drive is
accessible thru both path. I don't know if Linux is simply different
or
we're missing a setting in the Emulex drivers.
