Sorry that's not working:

SVRMGR> connect internal
Connected to an idle instance.
SVRMGR> startup mount

SVRMGR> ALTER DATABASE DATAFILE 7 OFFLINE; ALTER DATABASE DATAFILE 7 OFFLINE

                        *

ORA-02236: invalid file name

The instnace is 7.3.4.5, if that matters.
